Jo is a Benedictine Oblate (a lay person living according to the monastic rule of St Benedict), Catholic speaker and retreat host.

With a deep love of Sacred Scripture, Jo has spent 9 years in an immersive study of the old and new testaments, theology and philosophy.

She has hosted programs on Shalom World TV, and is the host of The Word with Jo Hayes podcast.

With the support of her local Bishop, Jo travels extensively around the world, preaching and speaking at churches, seminaries and ministry events, and regularly hosts silent retreats for women.

Jo is the founder of the lectiomeditatio.com - a practical what/why/how to the ancient monastic practice of Lectio Divina.
